Joey Mc Grath


Joe has been working with young people in a variety of different contexts over the last 30 years, primarily in the areas of teaching, psychotherapy, retreat facilitation, sports coaching and stage performance. Joe has a particular passion for using drama in all his work with young people. He likes to use the drama skills and knowledge gained in trying to re-present the Good News of the Gospel in a rapidly changing youth culture.

Joe Mc Grath is a priest of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnois, Currently he is full time teaching chaplain in St. Mel’s College, Longford, curate in the parsish of Ballinamuck and he also hosts a religious affairs programme on local radio every week.
