Background

Anita Phelan is a former Guidance Counsellor in secondary schools for over ten years.  She has been an active member of her Church and young adult faith groups throughout the years and felt the growing need to equip herself with the skills to assist young people in their relationship with God and in their personal and social development. She completed the Diploma in Spirituality in 2018 before deciding to leave her role in Guidance Counselling and set up her own retreat company, I Am Retreats.  She facilitates traditional retreats as well as a walking retreat in Dublin city centre, entitled, A Pilgrim Path for secondary school students.
