Teresa worked for many years in the field of alternative education. She spent five years in Africa where the plight of communities suffering from environmental degradation was heightened. On her return she did her master’s degree in Ecology & Religion while working as Co-ordinator of the Youthreach Programme under Co. Meath VEC. Teresa directed the Dominican Ecology Centre for two years and since then is an advocate for the care of the Earth through various initiatives.
